Software Summary
A brief description of each program is provided. Select the program
(right menu box) for more complete details with access to the downloadable
file.
Mismatch Calculator assists your determination
of the accuracy of microwave power and impedance measurements.
Tolerance Calculator establishes suitable test
limits for a defined confidence level and is particularly useful
where the ratio between product specification and uncertainty is
low.
Uncertainty Calculator enables the assessment
of measurement accuracy and presents the budget and calculations
in a form consistent with international standards.
Conversion Buddy provides an intelligent lookup
utility to translate measurement units.
Expression Buddy will take a user-defined mathematical
formula and determine its result and standard error.
GUM Workbench provides for calculation of uncertainty
in a manner that is internationally recognized and offers user-friendly
entry of variables for the measurement formula.
Variation is an educational program that introduces
aspects of statistical process control.
VNA Uncertainty is an MS-Excel97 add-in created
by Agilent to ease the determination of measurement accuracy for
Vector Network Analyzers.
Evaluatorcan estimate uncertainties, fit data, solve expressions,
plot
graphs, display tables, do statistics (with functions used in metrology),
do bit-wise and logical calculations and run script files. Aimed
particularly at metrology users, uncertainty estimation follows
both ISO and Monte-Carlo methods.
Predictor enables metrologists to estimate present values
and
uncertainties of measurment standards based on their past calibrations.
It can also estimate recalibration intervals and issue calibration
reports.
SWR Calculator has a similar purpose to the Mismatch Calculator
but with a visual interface that resembles the original HP slide-rule.
UnCalc is an Excel spreadsheet to assist in the calculation
of measurement uncertainty. A paper is also available that describes
its use.
