Abstract

This paper will describe our current Intranet Web-base Documented Quality System and how we capitalized on this emerging technology in order to implement a unified system over a vast geographic area. In it we will explain the history of our quality system and how our organizational changes presented us with a seemingly insurmountable task: to maintain a homogenous system of quality documentation in a national environment without the addition of added resources or personnel. We will trace the development of the program from its exclusively paper roots, through the use of shared drives, to its current state using the company intranet .
