Technician Certification Becomes a Must

International Accreditation Service Inc., a California-based agency that performs calibration and testing laboratory assessments against the ISO/IEC17025 standard, has announced that it will require calibration labs' technical personnel to be formally certified for their competence by 2009.

IAS are the first accreditation body in the US, and perhaps worldwide, to move on this matter.
